Urgent Pop-Up Protest: Tell ICE OUT FOR GOOD

Aloha Reader,

We’re sure you’ve seen the video of the shooting of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on Wednesday. It is absolutely tragic and sickening. The video evidence shows a masked federal agent, Jonathan Ross, shooting through her car window as she was trying to leave. This was murder. And any of us could be the next victim.

The Trump administration, by and through its federal police force, ICE, has blood on its hands. They purposely sent violent thugs into American cities, intending to create chaos and fear. Now they are killing Americans and covering up, falsely claiming self-defense. Trump & his GOP supplicants are trying to desensitize people to their cruel & lawless behavior. This must end.

TAKE ACTION: Join us THIS Saturday, January 10th, 2026, from 4:00-5:00 pm at the usual protest spot to stand up to this inhumane regime, express our disgust with their inexcusable thuggish behavior, and demand an end to this madness.

  • Location: Queen Kaʻahumanu Highway south of Henry Street.
  • Parking: off the highway is limited due to ongoing construction. Park offsite at Safeway, Lowe's, or Walmart if you can.

We have a good working relationship with the Hawaii Police Department (HPD) and we want that to continue. They have asked us to do 3 things to ensure safety:

  1. Pedestrians should cross roadways only at intersections with traffic signals, so do not jaywalk across the Highway or Henry Street.
  2. No left turns crossing the highway from the northbound lane.
  3. Stay well back from the white line marking the road shoulder.

It's short notice, but we will not stand idly by and hope you won't either.

Last Tuesday's pop-up was a great success. Make this one even bigger.

We’ll see you there.

Aloha Reader, Major escalations are happening, and all in one week: Alex Pretti murdered, 2020 ballots seized in Fulton County/Georgia with DNI Director Gabbard involved, Don Lemon arrested, and a new batch of Epstein files has been released (with very, very disturbing details), but still without the witness statements (FBI form 302s) or prosecution memos. It’s all still a cover-up. It's all awful, and it's real. It is the authoritarian playbook. But democracy is still winning here at home,...

Aloha Reader, Yesterday was another difficult day. Federal agents killed Alex Pretti. Let’s remember him alongside Renée. Meanwhile, Noem and her bosses are lying, again, both to cover up their crimes and encourage more. This is a time for action, not despair. A year ago, we didn’t know how to channel our outrage, but the world is different now. We are well-organized and in just three weeks, we pulled off two pop-up protests with great attendance on very short notice, and held another rally...
