Our hearts continue to go out to the people of Minneapolis; they remain under federal occupation.

But, we can follow two plots at the same time, so our heads are turning to the State of Hawai'i, where our Indivisible community is doing great, meaningful work.

The Public Policy Team is on Fire!

WIN: We're two weeks into the legislative session. So far, committees have held hearings on 23 of the bills we support and have advanced 18, including all 9 Migrant Rights bills. That's a big accomplishment, made possible thanks to you. In the hearings, the Indivisible Public Policy Team has submitted 25-50% of the testimony!

But we still need more help. This is not a sprint. The legislative session is more like a marathon and relay race, as bills move from committee to committee and cross over between the Senate and House.

Extended Pop-up Protest "Not My President’s Day"

WIN: It's amazing how many of you continue to show up for the pop-up protests (PUPs). We had our best turnout ever for a midweek event last Wednesday.

The next PUP is scheduled on February 16, 2026. On that holiday, we will be back at the usual spot. Join us to say, "No one is above the law!" Not the President, not the DHS, not the FBI, and not enablers like Stephen Miller and Tom Homan.

Bring your signs to tell them. Let's gather in Aloha because our democracy depends on it.

Postcarding

At last week’s Thursday Postcard Social, a small but mighty group of postcarders wrote to 320 Native Matriarchs in Arizona. Each mom, grandmom, and tribal elder encourages their whole family to vote. So every postcard you write triples the vote - or *more* in AZ’s elections for US Senate & House and the entire state legislature.

We always appreciate your generous donation of stamps or money toward postage, so that all postcard writers are welcome (including those with limited financial capacity). This way, we can all find ways to help get out the vote.

No Dictators on March 28, 2026

Indivisible National is calling for the largest protest in US history on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Nationally, it is called No Kings; in Hawai'i, we call it No Dictators, to honor Hawai'i's royalty while protesting federal overreach. The last No Dictators event on October 18, 2025, drew 22,000 across the state of Hawaii. Help us make this event the largest yet.
