All About Postcarding

Aloha Reader,

Franny here๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป. I am the co-chair with Maryellen of the Kona Indivisible Postcarding Committee.
Postcarding is a fantastic way to get involved in our democracy, so today's newsletter is a deep dive into what's going on! I've been involved with postcarding for a long time, and my motto has always been "To fight for our freedoms, one postcard at a time".

While postcarding, we either get together locally with friends and neighbors, virtually, or you can do it on your own with postcard packets. You will enjoy a community of like-minded folks and camaraderie while writing postcards to help elect people into office who are committed to democracy and the rule of law. We write postcards to register voters and get out the vote. Wherever you live, you can help protect democracy.

Our Progress Together: 10,865 voters written in 2025 ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ

These are the numbers just for this year:

  • Field Team 6 Voter Registration in VA, PA, GA, and AZ: 2,565
  • Postcards To Swing States in VA - October 6,000
  • Informed Voter Project 1,000
  • Activate America - CA Prop 50: 1,180
  • Postcards4VA - Lily Franklin: 120

Thanks to your help, weโ€™ve written to 1,180 California voters, urging them to support Proposition 50 (Stop The Election Rigging Response Act).

Hereโ€™s another action you can take. Please remind your friends and family in California:

  • Their ballots will come in the mail in early October.
  • Vote YES, and return their ballot ASAP. (Early voting is better. The last day to vote is November 4, 2025.)

Did you know that reaching out to remind your friends and family is the most effective way to get out the vote? You have that superpower!

Our Next Campaigns

Our next campaigns are Lily Franklin for the VA State House (Postcards4VA) and Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC) voters in Virginia Beach through the Center for Common Ground. CCG organizes year-round community events in underrepresented BIPOC communities, and its effective postcard campaign increased voter turnout by a stunning 8.2% in the VA 2024 election.
