It was so good seeing some of you Sunday night at our Kahalu’u Beach Park potluck. And extra thanks to those who showed up early with Franny to write postcards to Virginia to try to flip the state blue. All Member MeetingTonight is a very exciting event. It’s our first all-membership video meeting at 6 p.m. Please register here so we can ensure the call is set up to handle everyone who wants to attend. We’ll be talking about new initiatives we’re pushing out and, of course, our October 18 No Dictators rally. It will be in our normal location. You will receive additional information soon addressing our discussions with the Interim Police Chief about our events. Help us get California Proposition 50 approvedWe still have a few weeks to write postcards to California voters urging them to vote for Prop 50, the Stop Election Rigging Act. This proposition will allow California to change its congressional district map to aid us in offsetting the changes made in Texas to try to pick up 5 Republican House seats. We can’t allow Trump and his minions to fix the election results to ensure that the regime has a lapdog House of Representatives. You can pick up postcard packets at TWO locations: Iolani Kona (top of Lako) or Upper Palisades—Kona. Your packet includes postcards, instructions with a script, and addresses. You will need to provide your own postcard stamps. For CA Prop 50 postcards, please mail them as soon as you can! How To Get Your Postcard Packet
Don't hesitate to contact Franny at postcard.konaindivisible@gmail.com if you have any questions. See you tonight!Again, please register here for the all-member Zoom meeting tonight (Tuesday, October 7) at 6 p.m. We hope to see you there! |
